Strategic Plan 2024 - 2029

The Board of Directors met on Monday of this week for a Strategy Meeting facilitated by Jess Holliland. Jess is a coach, mentor and trainer for Social Entrepreneurs and I meet with her monthly for my own coaching session. We had a great day! It was hard work, lots of thinking and challenges to our way of thinking, but the day resulted in the bare bones of a plan that will give You First clear direction for the next 5 years. My challenge is to turn these notes and outcomes into a clear plan. I will write two versions of the Strategic Plan, one a detailed version, and the other an "at a glance" version. I hope to have this written over the next couple of weeks.


The Board of Directors meeting came on the heels of the consultation we carried out with people supported, team members, family members, and professionals. The questionnaires that went out have been collated and the feedback from them will feed directly into the final document, making the Strategic Plan one that has been co-produced. This means it will belong to all of us, it's our document and all You First Stakeholders have ownership of it, are invested in it, and will commit to it.


I look forward to sharing the Strategic Plan with you once it has been completed.
