A Social Enterprise providing community based support for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and mental health in the South West

Social Impact

Social Impact can be difficult to define. The Business Directory defines it as:
“The effect of an activity on the social fabric of the community and well-being of the individuals and families”
Communities Channel Scotland defines Social Impact as:
“The effects on people and communities that happen as a result of an action, activity, project, programme or policy”

So it is clear, therefore, that Social Impact is all about outcomes, the net result of, in this case, the actions and activities of You First Support Services.

You First is a Social Enterprise, which means we exist not to make private profit but to make a real, discernible difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities and/or autism as well as the wider learning disability/autism communities. Evidencing the positive change our community and asset based support brings is about demonstrating our Social Impact.

We will upload our annual Social Impact reports to this page so that you can read all about the real social change You First is empowering people to make.
