Work Skills from The Hub

Through a framework of micro-enterprise and community projects The Hub supports the development of work and life skills for trainees who are young people and adults with learning difficulties, disabilities, social communication and mental health issues.

You First has a partnership with The Hub – Yeovil. The Hub offers a friendly, caring and encouraging environment focused around the world of work and social independence.

Projects include: making our own re-manufactured products, from reusable waste materials, a shop, cafe, scrapstore, gardening and working in a warehouse! This allows us to provide varied opportunities and working environments for our trainees.
