From the very beginning the approach from You First management was completely different from our experience with previous care providers. We feel You First support our family as a whole, helping us live as normal a life as possible whilst our daughter is in a care situation needing a considerable amount of emotional support as well as the practical help. They have stepped up their support and kept an extra eye on our daughter on more than one occasion when we have had illnesses or personal difficulties within the family.

They listen to our views always treating us with respect. If there is a problem You First are easy to contact and very approachable they don't make you feel your concerns are trivial. They work carefully to find team members who are compatible with the person being cared for.

Their administration for invoicing is very well organised, mistakes are rare if at all, which makes our lives much easier.

We think it makes a huge difference being a "not for profit" organisation if it's not for profit then obviously the most important thing is the person receiving support.
